My New Coffee Place

I have been pretty much a Starbucks man ever since landing in Lompoc. Didn’t really care for Southside coffee and Sugar Magnolia’s closed down so there wasn’t much other choice. Well I am excited to say that Coffee Diem has taken over the old Hunter’s Landing drive through on H St and it will be my new coffee haunt. It is a small place which is actually a plus because you don’t have a lot of traffic. The coffee is much better than Starbucks and the owner great.
Carmen actually opened her first coffee cart inside of Taco Ranchero in Santa Maria. My wife was a waitress there at the time and we got to know and love her. She then sprouted out to a place right across from the mall and courthouse just in time for the Michael Jackson trial. She has slowly added places and recently took over most the Hunter’s Landing drive throughs. If you are in Lompoc I highly recommend the coffee and the company.

I was wondering if this new place was worth trying. As I am not a big coffee nut (pun intended) I’m pretty happy w/my instant at home or free refills wherever I’m at … BUT, tomorrow I’m heading out of town early in the a.m. & I think I’ll check this place out. Thanks for the heads-up b/c w/the time change & all I think I’ll be needing a lil’ pick me up.
